Election Changes for 2024 - Due to Proposal 2 passing in 2022 the following changes are now in effect:
EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING:
All Michigan voters have the right to cast a ballot early and in-person at an early voting site before Election Day. Early voting will be available beginning with the Presidential Primary in 2024.
The Township Office will be our Early Voting Center for Precinct 1 & Precinct 2. The Early Voting Center will be open from 8:00AM - 4:00PM for nine days preceding each election in 2024. This will include the two Saturdays and two Sundays before the Tuesday Election.
Early Voting Dates for the Presidential Primary: February 17 - February 25

PERMANENT BALLOT LIST:
If you prefer to vote absentee and receive your ballot in the mail, consider signing up for the "Permanent Ballot List". Placement on this list means that you will automatically receive your ballot in the mail approximately 40 days prior to each scheduled election to the address our office has on file. A signed request is required if you would like to be placed on this list. If interested, please check the box in section 2 on the Michigan Absent Voter Ballot Application.
ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST:
If you would only like to request an absentee ballot for a single election you may do so by checking the box in section 2 on the Michigan Absent Voter Ballot Application.
2024 Election Dates:
- Presidential Primary - February 27, 2024
- School Election - May 7, 2024
- August Primary - August 6, 2024
- November General - November 5, 2024
